farewell Christmas.

Another Christmas day has come and gone just like that. Every year I am reminded how lucky I am while celebrating such an incredible day surrounded by so many amazing people in my life. My husband for one, never disappoints. I'm blessed to get to spend every single Christmas with him for the rest of my life. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!! XOXO

our Candlestick experience.

I would like to announce that I am officially a new 49er fan! Blake is more than pleased with my decision and we owe it all to our experience at Sundays game.  Blake has been a 9er fan ever since we was a little boy so this was a dream come true for him. I will never forget the pure joy he was in. It was priceless! I'm totally taking credit for what was quite possibly his best birthday present ever. Here are some pictures of our day at Candlestick.

our first sight of Candlestick from the freeway
walking down to tailgating chaos
Blake couldn't get to the field fast enough
we watched the players warm up for a while
parking was a nightmare
8 dollar fries and a 10 dollar beer
I was so happy Blake flagged down the hot coco man. I was FREEEEEEZING
we tried to stay as close to the field as possible until whoever's seats we
were in decided to come kick us out.. oops.
somewhere down there are some girls from the dance studio that I teach at preforming at half time with the Gold Rush Cheerleaders
the view from our real seats. I personally enjoyed this spot better. We were tucked up under the upper level out of the frigid wind.
final score. AMAZING game!

kady.

We had to say goodbye to our little bear yesterday. Our home is not the same and our hearts are completely shattered but, we know she is at peace. We're happy to have had the chance to get one last family photo sesh in before saying our goodbyes. Here are some photos in memory of kady that we will cherish forever.

You will forever be missed.

favorite things.

My sweet friend Ashley hosted a favorite things party last night. I had never heard of such a party but, I guess it's pretty trendy right now. After attending I completely understand what all the rage is about. Favorite things parties are fabulous!! You get together with your friends, eat tons of good food and get lots of gifts. What's not to love!?
For those that have not heard of a favorite things party, let me explain.
Each guest was assigned a food item. For example, appetizer, dessert, drink, side etc.. we all brought our favorite of the item we were assigned. I was assigned to bring a drink so, of course I took ingredients for dirty Diet Cokes.
Along with our favorite food item, we were asked to bring a favorite thing for half the amount of people attending the party. We had a total of 12 girls so, we each took 6 of our favorite things. I have always had this guilty pleasure with Cosmo magazine so, that's what I took for my favorite thing.
After eating and mingling everyone drew 6 different names from a bowl and one by one we gave out our favorite items to the names we drew.

It was delightful and quite possibly the best party I've ever attended. I Encourage everyone to have their own favorite things party! you will not be disappointed :)

it was like Christmas!

weekend getaway.

Fish Lake

This weekend we spent some time with my family at Fish Lake and as you can see, this place is incredibly gorgeous! We enjoyed our time together in the mountains away from reality.  We stayed in the cutest little cabins and spent most our time enjoying the scenery. Blake was able to break out the old dirt bike and I tagged along with the four wheeler.  We even enjoyed some quality time as a family around the camp fire. All in all it was a fun and much needed getaway.

Here are some pictures I took along the way.
